How to send mass text messages

Location: CRM > SMS Messages

This feature allows restaurants to send mass text messages containing important information to future guests. This could include details about their visit or other essential notifications for that specific period. Please note that this function is strictly for informational purposes and not for marketing.

To create a new message, click on the New Message button. This will allow you to fill out the necessary details, such as:


  • Name: Give your message a relevant name for easy identification.

  • Message Type: Select the type of message you wish to send, which in this case is for information.

  • Receivers: Choose who will receive the message. You can select all guests or specific ones based on booking dates.
  • Language: Choose the language in which the message will be sent. If a guest’s preferred language is not available, they will receive the message in English.

You can also include various placeholders in your message, such as:


  • [GUEST_NAME]: The name of the guest.
  • [PLACE_NAME]: The name of the restaurant.

  • [DATE]: The date of the booking.
  • [NUMBER_OF_GUESTS]: Total number of guests in the booking.

Before sending your message, you will see a prompt with an estimated cost for sending. Please note that you are required to maintain a sufficient SMS balance on your account for the text messages to work. This is to avoid spam.

Once you have drafted your message, it will need to be approved by our support team. Approval typically takes a few hours.
